Dear Parents,

As you are all aware the Government has required all schools, nurseries and Pre-Schools to close on Friday for an indefinite period because of the Coronavirus pandemic.  In line with this, Teatimers will have to close for normal operations at 6pm on Friday.

This is a challenging time for all of us as we adjust to the new realities of life.  If you are classed as a ‘key worker’ under the government definition, then please get in touch with us. We are here to help and will work out how to meet everyone’s needs.  We can put in place a service for those pupils whose parents have these vital front-line roles.  With school holidays not far away, we can also look at extending a holiday club type service in line with Government guidance at the time.

For Parents of Pre-School children, we are looking at what we can do to help you with activities.  Children learn all the time, and a worldwide viral pandemic does nothing to stop that.  Bearing in mind that we observe and plan your child’s development, we can offer suggestions and ideas that will be relevant to each child’s stage of development.  We will send out more information to Pre-School families as soon as we have a plan in place.

Remember the Teatimers team is made up of lovely, experienced childcare professionals. If you are in need of emergency childcare, then please do get in touch and we will do everything we can to help.  Clearly our normal policy about employing our staff is suspended.

If anyone needs some remote office space, then Teatimers may be available for hire.  Although a little quirky, we can reconfigure the room to provide socially distanced office space for a small number of people.

I cannot predict with any certainty the way ahead. I am absolutely convinced that this next period of time will prove once again that Teatimers does whatever it can to support its families and we hope to be back to providing you all with a great service just as soon as possible.

Teatimers will still contactable.  Our emails will still be checked, and the phones will be answered.

I wish you all well during these difficult times.
